Lawyer Kilian Deery has specialized almost exclusively in criminal law cases and is available all over Germany, both for proceedings in court or in an advisory capacity. He functions as a bulwark against the state powers of the public prosecution. Whereas, the state authorities primarily focus on incriminating evidence, as a defence lawyer, Kilian Deery looks out for exonerating material and presents arguments to support the defendant’s rights in every phase of the court process.

Lawyer Kilian Deery is the son of Irish immigrants and is a native English speaker. As a result of lengthy periods of study outside Germany, he speaks in addition to German, both fluent French and Spanish. He concentrated on criminal law during his studies at Hamburg University. He worked in prestigious German law firms during his (Referendariat) legal apprenticeship.

Furthermore, on the way to becoming a lawyer Kilian Deery specialized in numerous aspects of criminal law. This led him to various internships such as for example; The Public Prosecutor’s office in Lüneburg, the Prison Service in Hamburg, a criminal law practice in Hamburg, and to teaching  Criminal Law at University also in Hamburg. Currently, in addition to this own busy Law Practice, Kilian Deery is in the process of acquiring the additional highly specialized qualification of Fachanwalt in Criminal Law.
